We are blessed with an abundance of clean water at a very affordable price, but we must not waste it.  Use what you need but need what you use. 

Please get your leaks fixed. A leaking faucet can waste 2,000 gallons of water a month. A leaking toilet can waste 20,000 gallons in a month.

This website is the offical voice of the Chapel Lane Water Company.  It has been established to help keep members of the Chapel Lane Water Company better informed of what is going on with our water system.

 

Monthly Board of Director's Meetings are held on the Second Saturday of each month at the Chapel Lane Water Company Office on Chapel Lane Road.  Meetings start at 8:00 AM

Watering Policy

 

The summer heat is here!  It is time to remind our long time customers and inform our new customers of the need to conserve water and our company’s lawn watering policy.  As has been the policy for the past years the Chapel Lane Water Company will be restricting watering of lawns to specific periods – May 1 until October 1.  These restrictions are a two-fold necessity.

 

1.            To insure emergency supplies at all times for fire fighting.

 

 

2.            As a water conservation program so that our two wells can provide your water needs without us having to purchase additional costly water from the city.

 

   No watering between 12 noon and 5:00 p.m. any day.

 

a.            No watering by anyone on the 31^st of the month.

 

b.            Water on odd or even numbered days corresponding to your address number.

 

c.            Newly planted flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns may be watered at anytime if necessary.

 

d.            Hand watering can be done whenever it is necessary.

Conserve Water by Repairing Leaks

In order to encourage conservation, the Chapel Lane Water Company has an agreement with DeDe Faucet Repair.  If you have leaking faucets etc. in your home, the Chapel Lane Water Company will pay DeDe Faucet repair for one hour of labor to repair your leaks.  All you pay for is the necessary parts.
